Job Summary: Project Specialist I supports the design, development, and implementation of automation and control systems for industrial and critical environment applications. This role works closely with Kroger management, staff and other non-Kroger customers. The position offers hands‑on experience across the full-service while building technical skills, troubleshooting capabilities, and customer‑facing communication in a collaborative engineering environment. This specific position is for the semi-embedded Kroger technician in the Dallas area working with their existing Bosch systems.
Responsibilities:
* Determine the design and performance parameters for control system applications.
* Support sales by visiting customer sites to support discussions related to the technical details of potential solutions.
* Provide direction and support through the construction process.
* Perform, assist, and sign off on final testing/commissioning of the completed systems.
* Initiate final technical documentation for completed projects (As-Builts).
* Troubleshoot and service Bosch intrusion and fire hardware.
* Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for other technicians, customers, and sales teams.
* Responsible for maintaining current technical, interpersonal, and communication skills through continuous education/development. (school, reading, seminars, industry group membership, etc.)
* Maintain clean driving record.
* Must be able to access and inspect all areas of Kroger Security and Life Safety systems.
* Must be able travel as required

Required Qualifications:
* Minimum of high school diploma or Electronics related studies preferred.
* 1+ years of experience in Security and Life Safety field.
* 1+ years of experience in Bosch Intrusion and Fire systems.
* FAL License.
* Bosch Certified.
* Knowledge and proficiency with intrusion, access control, video (analog and digital) and fire systems.
* Able to self-manage and operate in a remote environment.
* Capable of operating with little guidance and supervision.

As a Fire Inspector, you will:
* Follow and maintain high structured inspection schedules providing inspection, testing, and performing minor service and deficiency repairs for fire alarm equipment to comply with NFPA72 standards as well as state and local codes. Note deficiencies, remedies, and review pricing with customers. Complete service ticket documentation before leaving the customer site. Follow-up on corrective actions
* Maintain complete and accurate documentation of all tests performed. Generate reports within Siemens tools and upload to city municipality websites

What You Will Do
This skilled position involves installing, programming, troubleshooting, configuring, commissioning, and servicing Fire Alarm Systems, Access Control and CCTV Systems as well as other related building system products at customer sites including panel repair/reprogram, device replacement/repair, resolving low voltage circuit troubles and system testing

As a Fire Alarm Service Technician at Encore, you will be a key part of keeping our customers’ life safety systems operating the way they should when it matters most. * Service, program, test, inspect, and troubleshoot both basic and complex fire alarm systems.
