Bosch Building Technologies Integrator Business

Job Summary: The Senior Fire System Specialist is responsible for inspecting, testing, maintaining, and troubleshooting fire alarm and life safety systems to ensure code compliance, system reliability, and customer satisfaction. This role partners closely with customers, sales, and internal teams to deliver high-quality service, support system programming and integration, and mentor team members while maintaining accurate documentation and reporting.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct the inspecting, testing, and maintenance of fire suppression systems, including but not limited to, Fire Alarm, Fire Extinguisher systems.
* Ensure the entire scope of the inspection is executed appropriately.
* Engage and communicate with the customer while on-site, checking in and out, ensuring the customer is taken care of and all questions have been addressed.
* Provide and upload accurate inspection reports to CLSS within 24-hours of an inspection being completed.
* Provide and upload picture(s) to CLSS when finding a system or device that fails inspection or is in need of service.
* Complete a weekly closeout email detailing the inspections performed that week and any items that need immediate attention.
* Assist in preparing of as-built drawings and other closeout documents, as necessary.
* Provide information and support to the inside sales position when applicable.
* Complete time sheets, service work orders, expense reports, and other paperwork required for this position in an accurate and timely manner.
* Demonstrate leadership and support training of team members.
* Assist Sales team during estimating phase including potential system demonstrations when applicable.

Required Qualifications:
* Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
* 5+ years of experience in fire alarm installation, testing, inspecting and service.
* An understanding of NFPA 72 and other related fire and life safety codes is beneficial.
* An advanced understanding of reading and interpreting blueprints.
* 5+ years of experience in system startup and programming, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
* 5+ years of experience in panel installation and wiring, ensuring proper setup and system reliability.
* NICET or other certifications in the Fire and Life Safety industry.
* Proficiency in working with electronic equipment (volt meters, amp meters, etc.).
* Ability to troubleshoot basic electric and electronic circuitry.
* An understanding of computer operating systems, including the MS Office Suite of products.
* Clear and concise ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
* Ability to understand empathetically the issues and perceptions of others and to creatively and successfully work through these issues to achieve successful outcomes and customer and employee satisfaction.
* Ability to successfully pass background check in accordance to customers’ requirements.
* Willingness and ability to travel within the state, including overnight stays.
* Availability to work nights and some weekends as required.
* Ability to successfully pass government clearances.
Preferred Qualifications:
* 7+ years of experience with testing and inspecting Fire Alarm and Fire Sprinkler Systems; including Kitchen Hoods, Backflows, Clean Agent Systems, Pre-Action Systems, Fire Pumps, and Fire Hydrants.
* NICET level III or other certifications in the Fire and Life Safety industry.
* An Advanced understanding of NFPA 72 and other related fire and life safety codes.
* Experience with Building Reports software.
* Experience with Notifier fire alarm panels.
* Willingness and ability to participate in an on-call rotation if qualified.
Physical Demands:

Summary
As a key member of the Fire Brigade team within the EHS department, the Industrial Firefighter is responsible for providing frontline emergency response services across LG's industrial campus. This includes responding to fires, medical emergencies, hazardous materials incidents, and technical rescues. The role also includes participating in fire prevention inspections, training, and equipment maintenance in support of continuous improvement of site-wide emergency preparedness. Firefighters work 12-hour shifts on a Blue/Gold rotating schedule to ensure 24/7 site coverage and emergency response readiness.
Responsibilities:
* Respond to fire alarms, medical emergencies, hazmat incidents, and rescue operations on LG campus property.
* Operate fire suppression equipment, SCBAs, medical bags, AEDs, and industrial firefighting tools.
* Conduct fire safety inspections and fire watch walkthroughs throughout campus facilities.
* Support battery-related fire response protocols, including hot cell isolation and lithium-ion mitigation.
* Maintain, inspect, and inventory firefighting equipment and response vehicles daily.

* Support and participate in monthly fire brigade training drills and continuing education.

Key Responsibilities
You are the one who gets the call when the panel keeps beeping; a device refuses to cooperate, or an inspection turns up something that cannot wait. You move between scheduled service, system testing, troubleshooting, and the occasional emergency call, keeping customers informed, and systems compliant from start to finish. In this role, you will:
* Service, program, test, inspect, and troubleshoot both basic and complex fire alarm systems.
* Perform routine maintenance and corrective repairs in accordance with NFPA 72 and company standards.

* Respond to emergency calls as required, including participation in nights, weekends, and on-call rotations.

What You Bring To The Table
* High school diploma or GED required, with technical or industry related experience preferred
* Valid electrical license, in accordance with state specific requirements
* Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within your assigned territory
* Strong understanding of NFPA 72, NEC, OSHA regulations, and fire alarm system theory
* Hands-on experience working with fire alarm systems from major manufacturers such as Notifier, Siemens, Edwards, Simplex, Fire Lite, Gamewell FCI, and Honeywell
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work through issues methodically
* Strong communication skills for interacting with customers, contractors, and internal teams
* Ability to work independently, manage multiple service assignments, and prioritize your day

Job Description
We are in search of a highly motivated, highly skilled, and physically fit wildland fire professional! Salt Lake County is a beautiful location with a fast growing population in the WUI area, a large amount of visitor activity, and substantial wildfire risk. This position is the lead wildland fire official for non-federal lands within the counties. The County Fire Warden works closely with municipal fire departments and fire districts throughout the counties within the framework of Utah's Cooperative Wildfire System (CWS), as well as coordinating fire suppression activities with federal agencies. The County Fire Warden is responsible for wildland fire suppression, wildland fire prevention, and hazardous fuels mitigation with the framework of CWS and other cooperative agreements.
