Operating in a high-mix, engineered-to-order environment, GTI integrates structural, mechanical, electrical, and fire protection systems into fully assembled modular units. Our production model requires precision installation, system integration, and disciplined execution to deliver mission-critical infrastructure.

Position Overview

GTI Energy is seeking a Fire Suppression Installer to support installation and integration of fire protection systems within modular data center builds. This role is responsible for assembling and installing pre-fabricated fire suppression piping, sprinkler systems, and related components including valves, risers, and control assemblies.

The Fire Suppression Installer will work from mechanical drawings, isometric drawings, and fire protection layouts to install systems within prefabricated modules. This role requires experience with sprinkler systems, pipe installation, and mechanical system integration in an industrial or construction environment.

* Participate in Root Cause Analysis using 5 Whys and Fishbone methodologies

Cross-Functional Collaboration

* Partner with Engineering to resolve system layout and integration challenges
* Coordinate with Production, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to ensure material readiness and execution
* Support commissioning and final system validation activities

* 2–5 years of experience as a Fire Suppression Installer, Sprinkler Fitter, or Fire Protection Technician
* Experience installing fire protection systems including wet, dry, or pre-action systems
* Ability to read and interpret fire protection drawings, isometric drawings, and layouts
* Experience with pipe installation including threaded, grooved, and flanged systems
* Knowledge of NFPA standards and fire protection system requirements
* Experience using hand tools, power tools, and installation equipment
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a production environment

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in modular construction, prefabrication, or data center environments
* Background in industrial or commercial fire protection systems
* NICET certification (Level I or higher) in Fire Protection Systems
* Experience with system testing including hydrostatic testing and inspections
* Familiarity with chilled water systems, mechanical piping, or system integration environments
* Exposure to Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement practices
