Fire/Security Alarm Technician

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fire/Security Alarm Technician to install, maintain, and repair fire alarm and security alarm systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a commitment to safety and compliance in all security installations and services.

Key Responsibilities

* Install fire alarm systems according to local codes and regulations
* Install security alarm systems for residential and commercial properties
* Perform routine maintenance and inspections on fire and security alarm systems
* Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning alarm systems
* Collaborate with clients to assess their security needs and provide tailored solutions
* Document all service activities and maintain accurate records of installations and repairs

Qualifications

* Certification in fire alarm and/or security alarm systems
* Proven experience as a fire/security alarm technician or in a similar role
* Strong understanding of electrical systems and components
* Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites
