Fire Door & Fire Stopping Operations Lead (Support)

We are delighted to support a growing business who recruit for an experienced and reliable Fire Door & Fire Stopping Operations Lead (Support) to strengthen the fire safety division and support the existing Supervisor with an increasing workload.

This role is a blend of site-based surveying and office-based operational support, ideal for someone with strong fire door and fire stopping experience who wants real responsibility and autonomy, without stepping into a full supervisory position.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring fire door and fire stopping works are accurately surveyed, clearly reported, and professionally delivered, helping maintain high standards of compliance across residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

* Carrying out and supporting fire door inspections and condition surveys
* Assisting with fire stopping inspections where required
* Producing clear, accurate, and compliant survey reports
* Preparing quotations based on survey findings
* Supporting the Fire Door & Fire Stopping Supervisor with operational workload
* Liaising with clients professionally on site and via email/phone
* Providing general operational and administrative support to the division

Candidate attributes:

* Proven experience working with fire doors (essential)
* Strong understanding of fire door compliance and best practice
* Knowledge of fire stopping systems (preferred but not essential)
* Familiarity with BM TRADA standards (preferred, not essential)
* Strong IT skills and confidence in report writing
* Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities effectively
* Professional, confident communication skills

What’s on offer:

* £38,000 – £40,000 per annum
* Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
* Company vehicle provided
* 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays
