Objective:

Installation Helper to assist in the installation, maintenance, and servicing of fire alarm systems. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of electrical systems, excellent attention to detail, and a strong willingness to learn and grow within the field. This role provides hands-on experience in the fire safety industry while working alongside experienced technicians.

Responsibilities

* Assist in the installation and maintenance of low voltage systems.
* Help troubleshoot and repair low voltage systems and components.
* Work with the technician to test and inspect low voltage systems for proper operation.
* Support the setup and wiring of low voltage equipment, including control panels, and devices.
* Handle tools, equipment, and materials related to low voltage systems installation and service.
* Maintain an organized workspace and assist with managing equipment and supplies.
* Follow safety protocols and adhere to industry standards and codes.
* Maintain accurate documentation of installations, inspections, and repairs.
* Provide general support to the low voltage team as needed.

* Valid Drivers license with an outstanding driving record
* Ability to pass a background and drug screening
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* Basic knowledge of electrical systems and hand tools.
* Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
* Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
* Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
* Physical ability to lift and carry equipment, and work in confined or elevated spaces.
* Previous experience in electrical or low voltage systems is a plus but not required.
