Fire Alarm Technician

Position Overview
The Fire Alarm Technician is responsible for the installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and codes. This role is crucial in protecting lives and property by ensuring that fire alarm systems are fully operational and effective.

Key Responsibilities

* Install fire alarm systems in accordance with local codes and regulations.
* Conduct regular inspections and testing of fire alarm systems to ensure functionality.
* Perform maintenance and repairs on existing fire alarm equipment.
* Document inspection results and maintenance activities accurately.
* Collaborate with other technicians and contractors to ensure seamless project completion.
* Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients regarding fire alarm systems.

Qualifications

* FASA/BASA certification preferred.
* Proven experience as a fire alarm technician or similar role.
* Strong understanding of fire alarm systems, codes, and regulations.
* Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
