Fire Alarm Technician 

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Technician to install, maintain, and repair fire alarm systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of fire alarm systems and relevant codes and standards, along with a commitment to safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

* Install fire alarm systems according to specifications and codes
* Perform regular maintenance and inspections of fire alarm systems
* Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with fire alarm equipment
* Repair or replace faulty components of fire alarm systems
* Ensure compliance with local fire alarm regulations and standards
* Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs
* Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure timely project completion

Qualifications

* Appropriate certificates of fitness to inspect systems
* Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Technician or similar role
* NICET certification in fire alarm systems is highly desirable
* Strong knowledge of fire alarm codes and standards
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals
