Fire Alarm Technician

We are seeking a detail-oriented Fire Alarm Technician responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing fire alarm systems across commercial and industrial sites. This role ensures system reliability, safety compliance, and effective coordination with project teams.

Key Responsibilities

* Install fire alarm systems per blueprints, schematics, and NEC standards
* Interpret technical drawings (CAD, wiring diagrams, system layouts)
* Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations
* Perform testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of panels, sensors, and low-voltage systems
* Coordinate with construction teams for system integration
* Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and service records
* Provide field support and resolve system issues efficiently

Required Skills

* Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, sensors, and low-voltage wiring
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and system designs
* Hands-on experience with tools, testing equipment, and troubleshooting techniques
* Knowledge of NEC standards and fire safety compliance
* Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
