Job Title: Fire Alarm Technician (100% Travel)

* Locations: Florida, New Mexico, Tennessee, Texas, California

* Additional: Per Diem, Gas Card, Company Truck (100% reimbursement for hotel/flight/rental car if-needed)

Job Overview:

Insight Global is seeking a Fire Alarm Service Technician to perform the following responsibilities:

* Inspect, test, maintain, and repair fire alarm systems in industrial environments (e.g., power plants, oil & gas, marine, shipyard, military).
* Conduct thorough and detailed inspections.
* Provide expert advice to customers to safeguard lives and property.

Required Skills and Experience:

* Experience: 3–10+ years of fire alarm or suppression technician experience.
* Background: Industrial environments preferred (power plants, oil & gas, marine, shipyard, military).
* Work Style:
* Comfortable working solo on-site.
* Trusted as the technical authority.
* Travel Requirements: Willing to travel heavily (~90% travel, frequent overnight stays).
* Technical Proficiency: Strong with high-end fire alarm panels (Notifier, Potter, Siemens/EST – enterprise-grade systems).
* Residence: Candidate must reside in either FL, TN, TX, NM, or CA

Required State License:

* Florida : Fire Alarm System Agent license
* Tennessee: Contractor License specific to low-voltage systems
* New Mexico: License from New Mexico Construction Industries Division
* Texas: Low Voltage License (either Class A or Class B) issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation
* California: C-16 Fire Protection Contractor License

Preferred:

* NICET certification
