Firetrol Protection Systems is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Service Technician to join our dedicated team. As a Fire Alarm Service Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm systems in various settings including commercial, industrial, healthcare, and educational facilities.

Responsibilities:

* Install, inspect, test, maintain, and repair fire alarm systems in compliance with applicable codes and standards
* Troubleshoot system malfunctions and recommend necessary repairs or upgrades
* Complete detailed service reports and maintain accurate records of work performed
* Coordinate effectively with customers, project managers, and team members
* Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies at all times
* Keep current with the latest fire alarm technologies, industry standards, and local codes

Requirements

Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant technical training preferred
* Minimum 2 years of experience servicing fire alarm systems
* Valid state fire alarm technician license or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe
* Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, components, and NFPA standards
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Good communication skills and customer service orientation
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Physical ability to work at heights, lift equipment, and perform manual tasks safely
