We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Service Technician to inspect, service, troubleshoot, and maintain fire alarm and life safety systems. This role is critical to ensuring systems are compliant, fully operational, and meet all safety regulations. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and experience working in commercial environments.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform routine inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems
* Troubleshoot and repair system issues, including panels, devices, and wiring
* Program and configure fire alarm systems as needed
* Ensure compliance with NFPA codes and local regulations
* Complete detailed service reports and documentation
* Coordinate with customers, project teams, and AHJs (Authorities Having Jurisdiction)
* Support system upgrades, retrofits, and small installations
* Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle

Qualifications:

* 2+ years of experience with fire alarm systems (service or installation)
* Knowledge of NFPA 72 and fire/life safety codes
* Experience with major systems (e.g., EST, Notifier, Siemens, Bosch, etc.) preferred
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
* Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Preferred Certifications:

* NICET Certification (Fire Alarm Systems)
* Manufacturer certifications (EST, Notifier, Siemens, etc.)

Work Environment & Requirements:

* Ability to work in commercial and construction environments
* May require lifting, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces
* Occasional after-hours or on-call work may be required
