Overview

Topa Group, Inc. is partnering up with a Fire Protection company seeking a Fire Alarm Service Manager to lead our service operations, manage technicians, and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of fire alarm systems, codes, and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Oversee day-to-day operations of the Fire Alarm Service Department, ensuring timely response to customer requests and service calls.
* Supervise, schedule, and support service technicians and administrative staff to meet performance goals and KPIs.
* Manage service contracts, preventive maintenance schedules, testing, inspections, and repair work.
* Ensure all work is performed in compliance with NFPA, NICET, and local fire codes.
* Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting, and escalation support for complex system issues.
* Collaborate with sales and project teams to identify service opportunities and drive revenue growth.
* Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication and problem resolution.
* Manage department budgets, labor tracking, and material procurement to ensure profitability.
* Conduct safety meetings, performance reviews, and ongoing training for field personnel.
* Maintain accurate service documentation, reports, and compliance records.

Qualifications

* 5+ years of experience in Fire Alarm Service, including at least 2 years in a leadership or management capacity.
* Strong knowledge of NFPA 72, fire alarm codes, and industry standards.
* NICET Level II or higher in Fire Alarm Systems (preferred).
* Experience with major fire alarm manufacturers (e.g., Notifier, EST, Siemens, Gamewell-FCI, Silent Knight, etc.).
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
* Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency with service management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
