Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Fire Alarm Apprentice, located in Nashville, TN. As a Fire Alarm Apprentice, you will be responsible for assisting with the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fire alarm and suppression systems. Day-to-day tasks include learning to interpret technical blueprints, supporting senior technicians with the inspection and testing of fire safety equipment, and ensuring all fire prevention systems comply with industry regulations and standards. You will also actively participate in jobsite safety procedures and obtain hands-on experience in life safety systems to build your expertise in fire protection.

Qualifications

* Foundational knowledge or interest electronic systems.
* Willingness to learn Fire and Life Safety systems, access control and intrusion systems.
* Commitment to Life Safety and ensuring compliance with safety standards
* Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions and protocols
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to work on-site in Nashville, TN and in a physically active environment
* Previous experience in fire systems or technical trades is a plus but not required
