We’re hiring a Claims & Safety Manager to strengthen our safety culture, reduce risk, and lead end‑to‑end Workers’ Compensation strategy across a multi‑state footprint. This role blends proactive safety leadership with strategic claims oversight to protect our people, clients, and business.
Responsibilities:
Safety & Loss Control
* Develop and implement safety programs and training tailored to light‑industrial staffing environments.
* Conduct site audits, client assessments, and branch reviews to identify and mitigate hazards.
* Lead investigations for accidents and near‑misses, delivering root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
* Monitor injury trends and recommend solutions that reduce incident frequency and severity.
* Deliver targeted safety training for Sales, On‑Site, and Branch operations teams.
* Review safety components of new client onboarding, including OSHA history and job classifications.
* Manage OSHA interactions, including investigations and citations, in partnership with field teams.
* Promote a proactive safety culture through alerts, campaigns, and internal communications.
Workers’ Compensation Claims Management
* Oversee the full Workers’ Compensation claims lifecycle in partnership with our TPA.
* Review and monitor indemnity, medical, and expense reserves; collaborate with adjusters to ensure timely, accurate handling.
* Analyze claims data to identify trends, cost drivers, and areas for loss‑prevention improvement.
* Partner with legal counsel, medical providers, and internal teams to manage claims efficiently.
* Lead return‑to‑work strategies to support safe and timely employee reintegration.
* Provide leadership reporting on claims trends, costs, compliance, and performance metrics.
* Maintain complete, compliant documentation for audits and program evaluations.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in safety, risk management, or related field.
* Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
* Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and Workers’ Compensation statutes.
* Analytical and investigative skills with the ability to translate data into action.
* Experience leading safety training, audits, and compliance initiatives.
* Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and claims management systems.
* Ability to travel up to 50% across multiple regions.
